Most wanted

My most wanted at the moment is actually something that I kind of already own. It an acrylic makeup organiser. As I said I do in fact already own one, well I own a few Muji acrylic draws stacked on top of each other. They are absolutely perfect; I don't really have any fault with them. The only thing I will say is that some of the draws are tricky to open and sometimes get stuck which is irratiting as I then have to wait until they decide to open to use whatever is in it. So you can imagine how badly I want to get a new one and that new one it the GlamourCube Tall from GlamourLiving.
Please dont judge this picture, it was the only one I could find.
Im not even lieing when I say I am absolutly obsessing over this thing. The draws are all the right height for all different types of makeup aswell as having dividers into seperate everything. I mean you all know me and how much I love to orginise things. This is like heaven to me.

Random look into my life - Current obsession

Just so you all are aware of random things in my life, I am currently listening to this album none stop at the moment. I am a great believer in listening to every kind of music, and you will always find me listening to an array of music from The Faces to Frank Sinatra or like at the moment Little mix.

Nail soak recipe

As you all know by know I am in college for hair and beauty, one of the main rules, when you go into training, is that you can not have acrylic nails. This is down to an array of reasons, mainly you could jab someone in the eye with them but also when you are washing hair you can get water underneath them, and this leads to mould which leads to infection, you get the idea. So after having acrylics on for most of my teenage life it was time for them to go, as you probably can guess this was a sombre occasion for me. I mean I love my nails more than I will ever reveal, I feel like I should have had a funeral for them or something.

After taking them off by soaking them in acetone for about 40 minutes (they were very thick). I saw the horrific state that my nails were in underneath. Which I am not showing you as they where that bad.
So now not only do my nails look utterly horrific they also feel that way. I think because I have had no breathing time my nails have just given up on me. I have never in my life had my nails actually become painfull, at all times during the day no matter what I was doing they hurt. I think they where taking revenge on me.But luckily after I did this homemade nail soak they felt 100x better.
So this is a recipe I made up as I went along. All the ingredients I used all have their individual qualities on your nails, the majority of them being for hydration. Which is definitely what my nails needed. I soaked each hand for 15 minutes then rubbed in all the excess and slept with it all still on. By the morning my nails were as good as new! It was like there was no damage at all.

Working at events - Psychic Sunday's

It is Sunday!! It is my favourite day of the week, the day that I can slob around in my pyjamas, put a face pack on and not give a damn about anything. It is also the home of my favourite blog post of the week, Psychic Sunday's. It feels forever ago that we both sat down and went through something spiritual. However, I promise you it is something that I am very much a part of, In fact, I am more a part of it than ever before. As many of you know for the past year I have been working as a reader at the world renown Psychic Sisters London and recently they sent me out into the big scary world to represent them at a huge event. As you can imagine this was pretty terrifying for me as I had never worked at an event this huge before. Sure I have worked at events before, but NEVER one of this magnitude.

Because I know you all so well now, I can admit to you that I was absolutly terrified. It is one thing being a reader and reading people everyday, but it is a completly different situation when you are the person going up to guest for a reading. I think maybe I have been a bit spoilt in a way, I have never had to go up to people and pitch myself to them. I have always had a middle man whether it be a person or a short bio, something that pitches for me. So for me going up to people and having to prove my self in a way, absolutely terrified me.

To prepare my self for this entire thing I went through a lot, I started my countdown at 4pm knowing that I had to be at the event at 9pm. I actually begun my prep with an 40 minute long bath. Yes, you read that right. It was without a doubt the longest bath I have ever had in my life, but what can I say when I am nervous I like to have a bath. After that I ate, one huge part of my process of reading people is actually having a full stomach. I couldn't for the life of me tell you why this is but for me it works. Everyone is always in debate about this factor within the Psychic community. I know plenty of people who say that when you are reading you must be fasting, or you can only have clean food. For me none of this works. I have to be full and happy.  Which brings me onto my next step of getting ready for an event, I then had a nap. I know this is a weird thing for a 19 year old to do at 7pm on a Tuesday night but again it is something that helps calm me down and open me up.

Unfortunately I can't give you any information about the event itself! I know, it's shit, I'm sorry. But I can tell you I had an amazing time and that once I got there everyone was so good at calming my nerves.

Dealing with illness

One thing that I have always been very open about is my medical history. It is something that I live with day to day and am constantly learning about. I feel when you have long term illnesses people tend to overlook it and just assume you are either milking it or we have suddenly been cured. This is actually something that happened on a daily basis for me, I am constantly being told "But why do you feel ill, I thought you where better". I mean yes I may have had a few good days but that does not mean that I will stay that way for a long period of time. One of the main things with having a long term illness is that your life is a constant roller coaster, you will have perhaps a few days where you feel absolutely fine and you could conquer the world. Then following that have a few weeks of not being able to get out of bed due to pain or fatigue.

The reason I bring this all up is that it has had a huge effect on my during my time off. I don't know why but for me every month is different, I may have a time where I am extreamly productive and I go to the gym every day. I then may have a time when I can not leave my bed and my fingers hurt to much to even press the home button on my phone. So today's post is not really a beauty post but an explanation as to why I am always in and out of blogging.

My College Expierience

My college experience // georgisimpson.com
Yes I know experience is spelt wrong, I however didn't know that when I was writing it.
Fail.
As you all know I recently started college, well I say recently it was actually two months ago. I get asked all the time why I decided to go to college after not attending any sort of education since I was actually in school. The main reason being I just really wanted a qualification in my field. So I decided to apply to do a Hair and Media Makeup Level 2 course. I have been doing makeup as you all know for years and years and is something that I love to do. I have never really had a plan for where I wanted to end up in the industry; I feel like I am always dipping into different areas of it. However, I have always had a special place in my heart for the media side of makeup, I have always loved the artist aspect to it. As after all, I do not really like doing glam makeup on people constantly

Moving on to how I am finding it In college after so many years of not being in education. I'm not going to sit here and lie to all of you and say it it is the easiest thing I have ever done in my life. It is a bit strange going from being an adult and doing my own things in my own time, to suddenly working to a timetable and being treated like a child. I was very shocked to learn on the first day that we weren't aloud to use our phones or talk during lessons. Yes, It has been a long time since I have been in school. But I am dealing with it as I know in the long term I am going to be Thanking my past self for going through with it. So unfortunately this does mean that I sometimes get a bit slack with my postings, social media and all that stuff.

I have returned

Hello, everyone! I bet you thought you would never hear from me again or as some people thought, that I was dead. So I am here to assure you all that I am alive and well and I am back to blogging. I decided to take a short break from blogging and all types of social media for a while as I found myself getting ill from everything. A lot of this was due to me starting college, and I was finding it tough to juggle everything around at the beginning. But now that I have got myself into a nice day to day routine I can safely say I am ready to start blogging again! Starting from today, I will be back to my normal schedule plus a little surprise for you all in a few weeks to make up for some lost time. For the rest of this week, I will be posting things that explain everything that I have been going through that caused my short term break.

A History of Make up - Egyptions

Hello, everyone! This is a bit of research I did for college but found it all very interesting so thought I would share with you.
The first time we discovered that the people of Ancient Egypt not only wore makeup on their faces but in fact made their cosmetics was in 10,000bc. This was a bottle of scented oil found in a tomb for softening the skin, kept in a sacred jar. This shows that the necessity of beauty products for the Ancient Egyptians was so important and that they felt a need to bring it to the afterlife with them. It was not long after 10,000bc that the Egyptians started creating that classic look that we all know them for which is the straight edge feline winged eyeliner.

The one thing that the Ancient Egyptian are pretty much world renown for is their feline flick. This is something that not only something the noble women did but also the worker girls. This was a revolutionary time for beauty. As for the first time, women were culturally allowed to wear makeup and not be looked down upon. All women tended to wear a black kohl liner on their eyes and eyebrows. This is something that is believed to be not only for the beautification process but also used in a medical way. It has been inscribed on many of the cosmetic jars that have been found that it has also been used as a way of keeping the glare of the sun out of the person's eye.

Lés Merveilleuses LADURÉE

Today I am going to be doing something that I do not often do, and that is raving about a brand that I have in fact never tried. The brand in question is a very expensive French brand called Lés Merveilleuses LADURÉE. So let's start with the reason of why I say it is a very expensive range if you ignore the fact that their lip balm is £45.71, their main product which is a blusher in a glass case with powdered rose petals inside comes at the high price of £112.77. Now I do not know about you, but I am not prepared to spend that amount of money on a product unless it promised me eternal youth.
So to learn more about this brand, I need to take it all the way back to the beginning, believe it or not, this brand of beauty products is a bakery. Actually,  It is one of the most luxury bakeries in the world all because it is the inventor of the double-decker macaron. Do not mistake this for the mothership of the macarons as that was brought over to France about 200 years before this bakery was even open by Queen Catherine de' Medici.  When you look at their current products, you will see that they all resemble the colour of macarons with that really stunning dusty pink. Nowadays they cater to the rich, famous and occasionally to royalty; they also like to make some stunning cameos is some of your favourite TV Shows.

Gossip Girl

You can see why I love this brand already. LADURÉE make a broad range of beauty products everything from bath oils to setting powders. However, one product that I am obsessed with, that I am seriously debating buying is their Face Colour Rose Ladurée. As I said earlier, it has the pricey price tag of being £112.77 and £80 for refills. However, all I can say is look how pretty it is!! It is a small glass container with rose petals in; How can you beat that? I just really need this in my life you guys. I may have to start looking into selling my soul.
That is actually all I can say on this subject now, as I may start crying. I just need it so bad or at least just have the jar. Basically, this whole post is about me wanting to fangirl over this little miracle of cuteness. I am surely not the only one who has done something like this before? Do comment down below if any of you share my obsession with this product as I am not going to lie I really need someone to fangirl with.

Most Wanted - Jamberry Nail Wraps

As you all know my favorite thing in the whole world is nail art. I can not live without it, in fact, I know get stopped by people I know when I don't have nail art on and get asked if I'm okay. So when I decided I was going to start to learn how to do my nails (Future blog series). My main worry was about my nail art. How was I going to cope not having any nail art on?! I mean trust me I have tried and tried but I just can't do it myself, although I am very determined to sit down and try to.

So you can imagine how relieved I was when I discover Jamberry Nail wraps. I have obviously apparently heard of Nail Wraps in the past and seen them I mean I haven't lived in a cave. But for the first time, I discovered patterns I liked. They seem to have designs for every mood I am ever in, which trust me is a lot.

How I Plan A Blog Post

I know it may not look like it, but I do put a lot of effort into my blog posts. I have an incredibly long and complicated system to who I do my posts. The reason I say it's complicated is because I have tried many, many times to explain it to members of my family with them only to reply with either "Why?" or "Surely you can think of an easier way to do this" But for me it works, and I wouldn't change the way I do it at all.

So today I thought I would share with you all how I plan each blog post. It all starts and ends with this little check list I made on my favorite website Canva. I have added it below for you all to take inspiration from. Not to copy.

Essentials Crystals - Psychic Sundays

Essential Crystals - Psychic Sundays // Georgi Simpson

One thing as a Psychic that I continually get asked about is crystals. No matter where I am or what I am doing they always seem to be the topic of conversation, a few years ago I would have only laughed. As, believe it or not, I did not believe in crystals. I did not think they had any abilities and were just an old wives tale. So when I started working 'professionally' as a Psychic, I was surprised to learn how frequently they are used on an hourly basis. It was through watching my colleagues that I felt the real power of crystals, sometimes I could even see the energy coming out of the reading rooms while they were healing. So through that, I have become a true believer in the power of crystals.

Essential Crystals - Psychic Sundays // Georgi Simpson

Amethyst

Amethyst is a crystal everyone should own; it is one of the only stones that can pretty much do everything. One of the primary uses (I use it for) is healing; it has an amazing ability to just genuinely make you feel better. Whenever I have a bad week where I just feel crap I tend to put this under my pillow and feel so much better by the morning.

Rose Quartz

As I am sure you all know Rose Quartz is the love crystal out of all of this bunch. Unlike the darker crystals rose quartz is for, the more romantic love rather than the passionate.

Citrine

This is without a doubt my favourite crystal. For me, my primary use of this is for when people are ill. Whenever anyone in my family is really sick or are in pain, I always put one of these crystals next to their bed.

Clear Quartz

I always call this the energy crystal, the best property of it is the fact that it stores energy. So when you are working those late nights and need that little boost, that coffee just can't give you then this is your answer.

10 Beauty Questions

1 - Do you remember your first makeup item?

Yes! I wrote a blog post about it a while ago, maybe even on my old blog. It was an Elizebeth Arden gift box my Nan bought for me when I was five.

2 - Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?

Without a doubt, my perfect mascara is Charlotte Tilbury's 5 Star Mascara. I love that it clings to every single lash and for me, it gives the appearance of false lashes.

3 - What kind of coverage do you prefer from a foundation?

My foundation needs to be the most full coverage product you have ever seen, or I am not wearing it.

4 - Favourite high-end brand?

I do not really consider it a brand as I feel they should have a wide range of products first. However, I am in love with Christian Louboutin's makeup.

5 - What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven’t?

Probably Kylie Cosmetics out of pure curiosity. I do not usually buy into the whole hype about a celebrity beauty brand, but I will admit that I am curious.

6 - Favourite drugstore brand?

There will always for me be one and only one drugstore brand, and that is NYX. Must I say any more?

7 - Do you wear fake eyelashes?

Of course, I do!I use to wear a pair every day without fail until recently when I discovered how much time it took me in the mornings.

8 - Is there any makeup you cannot leave the house without?

I do not really need to have makeup on when I leave the house. It is not something that I totally worry about.

9 - What is your most cherished beauty product?

My black eyeliner, I do not really have a favourite between all my babies so any black liner will do.

10 - How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?

I will probably shop at least once a week for makeup. However, I do not really bulk buy it nor do I have the intent to purchase a particular product.

Highlight to Perfection

As much as I do love a good contour, I think highlighting is my favourite part of the whole routine. There is nothing better than getting that beautiful cheekbone highlight.

Highlight to Perfection // Georgi Simpson

Can you all believe it? I have done a swatch!

Highlight to Perfection // Georgi Simpson

BECCA - £29

This highlighter I recently bought while I was over in America at Sephora. Which I love by the way. It needs to come to England as I am not sure how much longer I can live without it. This Becca highlighter is definitely now something I can not live without. For me, it is the right shade to match my foundation as I can not stand highlighters that are orangey. The sparkle in it is really fine, so the light picks it up in all directions.

Benefit - £19.50

This is an obvious choice. You cannot get much better than the good old high beam. It is a product that will be with you until the end of the day, exactly where you left it. This highlighter I love to use when I do a more dramatic look as I feel it is a very in your face product. My only downside with this is that it is, in fact, a liquid. Which is great but I do feel that sometimes it is pretty hard to blend.

Charlotte Tilbury - £32

I have just discovered (after I uploaded this) That Charlotte Tilbury has just announced the discontinue of this product. Excuse me while I go cry. This will forever be my favorite highlighter. It is the exact shade I need, meaning you can't see it unless the light hits it in the right way.

Most Wanted - Pillo

One thing that I don't think I have shared with you guys is how many tablets a day I take. I know it sounds silly but taking my medication is something that runs my life. I take about 60 pills a day at 4 points during the day. So basically I take a lot of drugs. Not to mention each tablet has to be contained at a certain temperature and can only be taken at certain hours of the day. I even have one that I can't take unless I am standing up. It takes up a lot of my time remembering to take them and also trying to remember the ones I have taken. I have tried many times using apps, but I have never found one that works for me.

On one of my recent nosey looks through Indie-go-go, I spotted this little thing. Bastically, it is an automatic pill dispenser. But what attracted me to it is the fact that it remembers all the dates and times you should be taking your medication and will even order you new ones when you run out. For me, this would change my life. I would be able to do a lot more things and not spend four hours every week planning all my tablets and wondering where the boxes are.

Alternatives To Smudging - Psychic Sundays

I have come to realise by one of my readers that in some places it is very hard to obtain good Sage and can often be too expensive. So I thought that I would share with you all some other ways you can 'sage' yourself and or the area around you to cleanse of any negativity.

Vinegar
I know, I know it sounds dumb, but it does work. Place a bowl of vinegar in the area you want to cleanse (this best works in houses) and leave it until it is all evaporated. I recently used this in my loft as I didn't really want to bring fire up there with all the wooden plinths, and it worked just as well as sage.

Rock Salt
For this, you will need rock salt don't just get some ordinary table salt and assume it will work. For rooms and houses, all you need to do it sprinkle this around the edges of the insides of each room leave it for about 3 hours and then hoover it all up (you don't have to hoover it up if you do not wish to). This as well as cleaning and 'smudging' your house, makes a nice protection barrier around you and you will notice your house will start to feel more like a safe haven.

Most Wanted

It is becoming that time of year again when it is in fact half of my family birthdays within a few day. So apparently that means a lot of parties within a very short space of time. So unlike most years where I have brought a new dress for each party, I have been thinking of maybe buying one dress and just wearing it very, very different overnight. Now I have never done something like this so it may need a bit of figuring out. But I was thinking maybe this dress from Parlor. As it is a dress, you can easily swap around. It is a lovely cut and has that splash of colour with the orange.

What my nails are wearing

If you are a follower on my which I hope you are (@georgi33333), You would have seen my latest nail design which I am obsessed with. This is all done using Gelish and All That Jazz for the art. I am so inlove with this orange at the moment. I don't really know why as It does look a bit like it should be a Halloween sort of design.

Sweety, Darling..

GUESS WHAT I JUST SAW!!!! Yes, the Ab-Fab movie, how an earth did you guess. I have been in love with Ab-Fab Since I was about 13. I then at that age decided I wanted my life to be exactly like that. I wanted the glamour, the parties, everything. I then put that to the back of my mind and never really thought about it again. It wasn't until today sitting in my seat watching the first five minutes of the movie I realise. I WAS living the Ab-Fab movie. It is a scarily accurate representation of my life at this moment in time, and all I can say is thank god! I wouldn't have my life any other way.

Elie Saab - Mummy and me

Happy Friday everyone!! I feel as though this has been a very hard week for nearly everyone. So I thought what better way to cheer everyone up than a cute collection by Elie Saab.  Elie's collections themselves are alway just stunning. Buth this particular collection had an added WOW!  Factor of having mini-me dresses made for the 'Daughters' of some of the models. I just love how all the mini dresses have the look of all the adult ones but in a much more modest manner. All I can say is that this is 100% how myself and my future daughter are going to look.

Monthly favourites

I actually can't believe it is that time of the month; I know that I say that every month but this one seems to have gone by a lot faster. Maybe because last month I was in America, so it went by a lot faster. This month I have been working like mad! Every day I have been out the house early and not getting home until about 10 pm. So everything for me has been things that I can do in a hurry, which again is something I say every month.
I recently brought this bottle one day while I was at work. When I am talking for about 5 hours straight it is nice to have some water near by. I wanted a bottle that didn't look ugly and unprofessional but was still very me. So I thought this bottle was perfect! I can have the pink sleeve on while I am out and about as I do tend to drink eight glasses a say, so I need to have this on me at all times. But during work hours I can take off the sleeve, and it still looks beautiful.

I love this little eyeliner, unlike my other eyeliners, this is, in fact, a felt tip one. I have never really gotten on with these type of eyeliners as for me after about three days they are either empty or all dried up. I have no idea why but I think they just all hate me. But for some reason, this one seems to love me. I have used this pretty much every day this month, and it has yet to dry out of empty out. So that is the reason it is on this months favorites list.

I have no idea why but this month I have been back into my Naked palette. I use to wear it every day and live life by it. But then I moved onto other things, mainly Kat Von D's eye contour palette. So it was a bit of a shock for me when I found my naked pallet at the back of one of my draws gathering dust. So I thought I would start using it yet again and fell in love with it all over again. I honestly forgot how pigmented all the colours and also how long they lasted.

This product is one of the best sheet masks's I have ever owned. We all now how much I love my Maskeraide Sheet mask's with all their hydrating glory. But sometimes it is nice to have a mask that actually will unclog all your pores and just make your face feel clean again. This was when I discovered this Mud sheet mask. Yes, you heard me right Mud sheet mask. It's just the best idea in the world any by God it works. My skin felt better than if I had gone to a spa and spend £200 on a facial.

Nude Lips
Lastly with a quick one, I have been loving nude lips at the moment. Which you all know is very strange for me as I am definitely a red lip girl. Maybe this mean an end of an error?

One of my all time favourite products

I am so excited to share this product with all of you; this is one of the best things I have every brought in my life. I got it while I was in the states at an Urban Outfitters. Which by the way I had never been to, they are AMAZING Why did no one introduce me to them earlier? One thing that I love about them is they have a very indie/hipster Beauty section which we all know I am a sucker for.  It is where I found this clay detox powder, the actual reason I brought this was a joke. My mum and my sister always think I am Edina from Ab-Fab and in one episode she has a mud-wrap to get rid of an inch of fat. She ends up having the bandages taken off only to find no mud and that her body had absorbed all the mud causing her to gain 12 inches over her whole body. Which according to my family is something that would happen to me.

But after using about a spoon of this stuff in my bath, I found out how amazing it is! I have always known how well anything to do with clay/mud is at drawing things out of your pores, but I never realised how good it could be. After about 24 hours of my first try at this, all my acne on my body (shoulders, back, arms) Had completely gone. It was like my entire body had a face pack on. There are a few other uses for this product that I have yet to try out as I wanted to share it with you all first but I can tell you now if they are anywhere near as good as the bath then I can not wait!

For best results, do not use with metal utensils or containers. Use with nonreactive wood or plastic.
For bath: Place one half to one cup of Detox Bath powder in warm bath water. Mix into water and relax. Let the Detox Bath gradually remove impurities from your body.
For body wrap: Make a paste with a half cup or less of clay and water. Mix until smooth. Apply on specific parts of the body or all over. Let dry for thirty minutes, then rinse.
For slimming and tightening the skin: wrap clay covered areas with a cloth or plastic. Keep on for one hour while doing light exercise.Do not wrap more than twice per week.

Learning Palm Reading - Psychic Sundays

I have many psychic things that I have mastered but one thing that I can not do that I so wish I could is palm reading. I have seen many of the girls at work do it and they are so amazing at it. So I thought it was about time I did. So look forward to many updates about this journey!!

My love for Barbie has no limits

You all know I love pink. There is no question about it. But I never actually wear it, I am a person who lives in black. I love wearing black I find that everything goes and with my hair and skin tone it gives that shocking look. One thing I do like to do now and then is show my love for pink through accessories. Now I'm not saying I will wear a little pastel pink. If I am doing this, I am going full out. So when I do wear pink accessories, I tend to wear the neons. Which brings me onto the point of this post. I am in love with this shoulder bag by Victoria Lam; she is one of my favourite bag designers. I find the way she cuts them just incredible.

My favourite Band

I get asked a lot about my taste in music as it is a bit..questionable. I like an array of music. I think that's how I will describe. I like pretty much any music it was very much the way I was raised. But without a doubt my favorite band at the moment is Dorothy. They are a rock band, but I think for me the way they are is an excellent representation of who I am.

Give them a try here, my favorite songs at the moment are Raise Hell and Dark Nights.

My Go-To Lipsticks

Every person around the world who wears makeup will tell you they have those few products that they know without fail they will not only look good in but know they go with everything.  So as you can see below this is my list. Yes, I know they are very bright and more like statement lips but I'm sure you all know me by now and know that bold lips are all I really wear. But the thing I love about these three colours is that I know that whatever I am wearing they always look amazing.
Lime Crime - Pink Velvet
I'm sure you have all seen me rave so much about this colour. This was actually a birthday present from my sister and I have pretty much worn it every day since. I don't feel I need to explain too much why I love it as this is such a hyped product. But what I will say is that I feel that it is just everything that you really want in a lipstick. It is extremely pigmented, will stay all day and also is in the most stunning colour.

Charlotte Tilbury - Stoned Rose
This I would say is my more daily lipstick. As you can see it is a gorgeous pinky nude and because of my colouring it really complements basically any makeup look I wear. The other thing I love about this lipstick is it is packed full of ingredients that are actually really good for your lips. You've got to love Charlotte Tilbury for always loving our lips!

Illamasqua - Box
Ahh, the days when I was a fully fledged member of the Illamafia. This is a lipstick that I fell is completely timeless. I always imagine it is the colour Marylin Monroe would wear today if she was alive. It is completely matte and much like Illamasqua's style it will not move all day. Once you put this baby on it will stay on. I believe in it so much now that when I do wear it I don't actually bring the lipstick out with me that day,

Not Again...

1. Do you remember your first makeup item?
This is one of my earliest memories. My very first piece of makeup was given to me by my nan. She took me to Selfridges straight to the Elizebeth Arden counter when I was about 6. She then announced that it was time I tried my first piece of makeup. So she brought me the little gift set they were doing then. I still remember it. It was a little yellow and white stripy box with rounded edges. I took all the makeup home and set it out on my dressing table. Only to wake up the next morning to find my little sister had poured makeup remover on it all.

2. Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
My perfect mascara is Charlotte Tilbury's 5* lashes.

3. What kind of coverage do you prefer from a foundation?
From any foundation, I want so much coverage that I look like a white canvas. I like my face to look flawless, so I can draw lots of things on top.

4. Favorite high-end brand?

Probably Nars.

5. What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't?
There a quite a few as I am always behind in these things. Probably Jeff Star Cosmetics (I think that's the name)

Rimmel

7. Do you wear fake eyelashes?

I am a person who always picks things up now and then. I don't shop for makeup often as believe it or not I find the shopping for it a bit boring. So I tend to do it all online.

11. Do you have a "beauty budget" or you spend freely?

If you think I have a budget for anything in my life, you are just fooling yourself. This is why I have no money.

12. Do you utilize coupons, rewards cards, and sales when you shop for cosmetics?

Not really as I always loose whatever coupon I have.

13. What type of product do you buy the most of?
Primers. I am addicted to having a good primer.

MAC. Can't stand it. I think it is very overrated. Overpriced and also I find every single product either too oily or too dry.

Not really. The only thing I always avoid with any product is animal testing.

16. Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?

Definitely not. It is the only thing I am good at.

26. Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
Yes!! Why wouldn't you?!

27. How many hair products do you use on a typical day?

Concealer goes on first. Always

The fact that you can be anyone you want to be.

Most wanted

I am obsessed with strange looking jewelry. Within this big obsession is my love for anything with skulls on. So recently I found these little stud earings that have a Vampire skull on from the designer Kasun London. I don't really know why they are called a vampire skull as they don't look like vampires. But I do still love them.

Before Work Prep- Psychic Sundays

There are some days where I do truly forget how strange my life is. Especially my work life. It isn't until I get home at about 10 pm from work, and my little sister makes me my dinner while I tell her about my day that I realise how strange it all sounds.
My shift at work usually starts around 2 pm, so for me, that means I have the entire morning to do what I want which is usually writing and cleaning the house. I then leave home at 12:45 and start my hour and a half trip to Selfridges. I typically order my Starbucks when I am about ten minutes away through their app (best invention in the world) and then start my five-minute walk to Selfridges. Where I then have to sign in go through airport security checks and then walk through the underground walkways to our shop.
As soon as I arrive all my lovely co-workers are there to greet me, and we all have a cup of coffee and talk about our week whilst we set up our rooms. Every reader gets there own room whilst there shift is on, we can move everything around inside to make ourselves more comfy. Once my room is sorted, I usually lay on the healing table and do my opening up and connecting for the day; This usually takes about three minutes. Then I am open shop for the day!

Reincarnation - Psychic Sundays

Since I was a very little girl, I had always believed in reincarnation. Even before I knew what it was. I am sure you all remember my story about my other 'Mummy & Daddy' that I told in an earlier blog post. It is something that has stayed with me my entire life, the idea that this is not it, and we will all be 'resurrected' in the next life into something else.

Now, this may take a bit of explaining about what I believe. I believe there is a Spirit Plane; this is where everyone is from. We have no body's there is no vanity, no judgment. You just are. The Spirit Plane is always where you go back to, instead of 'Dying' you are just back to where you belong. This is how Mediums, Psychics, and Clairvoyants communicate to spirits. We are not communicating with the dead; we just have a little window into this plane. Now we get to the reincarnation part; I believe we get sent down to learn lessons. Each time we get sent down from the Spirit Plane we live a new life and with that new life we learn our life lessons. Then at the 'End' we are asked what we have discovered and are allowed back to the Spirit Plane.
I know this is not a popular belief but it is mine, and I know many Spiritualist belive the same thing. What do you guys believe in? I would love to know
